• Your niche is the service you are going to provide. That’s the starting point in business development. If you choose the correct niche, the project will be profitable.

An obscure niche allows you to become a big fish in a small pond. You can dominate in your category and then occupy other ponds as well.

It means that as soon as you master one niche, you can expand your business and occupy another niche that is narrower. The main thing is not to try to do everything for everyone.

  • Step 2: Business Model

    • What will be your business model (a recorded course, coaching, a subscription-based course, etc)?
    • Do you need a producer, or a partner?
    • Who else will you need on your team?
    • Where to find and hire the RIGHT people?
    • What steps will you need to lead your students during the program?
    • How will each step be connected to the next one?
    • Will your course have different levels/modules or will it be "one for all" type of course?
    • How long will it take students to get through the program?
    • What platform to use to build your courses?
  • Step 4: Teaching Methods

    • What makes you a good teacher?

    • What makes you unique?

    • How to motivate your students to do homework and move on through the course materials?

    • How to use feedback to encourage students to do their best?

  • Step 5: Creating The Course

    • What is required to create and run your course: minimal Internet speed (for webinars), cameras, audio, and lighting.

    • Recording/post-production and broadcast gear: Software vs. hardware solutions. A review of what is on the market, including prices and the pros & cons of each device.

    • Setting up the stage: where to buy simple, inexpensive yet professional lighting.

    • Where to host your course?

    • Where to build and host your storefront?

    • Landing pages, checkout, thank you and other necessary pages for your storefront - Should you DIY or hire a specialist?

    • How to setup tracking and analytics for your store.

  • Step 7: Selling your product

    • Where can you advertise your course?

    • Paid v.s gorilla marketing?

    • What is the sales funnel - how do you build and optimize one?

    • How to set up your AD account and publish your Ads?

  • Step 8: Support and Scaling

    • Organizing your support team: where and how to hire your helpers?

    • What constitutes good customer support and what it can do for your business?

    • What services to use where you can run your support platform?
